Known drivers only
Drivers are fraternity members from your campus—not anonymous contractors from an app.
Fride is a coordination platform, not a rideshare service.
We provide software for fraternities to coordinate their existing designated driver programs. Fride does not employ drivers, operate vehicles, or process any payments. Drivers are volunteers from Greek organizations.
Common questions
Is Fride really free?
Yes. Fride does not charge users or process any payments. Drivers are unpaid volunteers from fraternity chapters coordinating through our platform.
Who can request rides?
Anyone at a university where Fride is available. You'll see events from fraternities at your campus and can request rides from their volunteer drivers.
How is this different from Uber/Lyft?
Fride is not a rideshare company. We're software for existing fraternity DD programs. Drivers are chapter members you may know, not paid strangers.
How do I become a driver?
Your chapter's social chair or admin will send you an invite code. Sign up with that code to join as a driver for your fraternity's events.
What universities have Fride?
We're currently launching at select SEC schools. Contact us at team@fride.to to bring Fride to your campus.
How do I set up my chapter?
Email team@fride.to with your chapter info. We'll create an admin account for your social chair and you can start adding drivers immediately.
